Suction excavation, although well established in mainland Europe, is relatively new to the UK being introduced in 2005 and gradually growing as the benefits of operation have become acknowledged.

Force One Utilities Ltd recognised the advantages of this cutting edge technology at an early stage and become one of the first UK companies to commit a considerable investment in operating and building a growing fleet of these excavators.

Suction Excavators provide ForceOne Utilities Ltd with the flexibility to serve our core business customers on Gas, Water, Electric and Tele Communications where they are facing restricted or difficult excavation projects, whilst also allowing ForceOne the ability to serve new customers and sectors where mechanised excavation may not have been available or practicable.

Suction Excavation can be applied across a vast range of uses including: -

Rail trackside maintenance and repair
Clearance of environmental damage
Removal of contaminated soil - particularly around trees as roots are undamaged by the Suction Excavator
Demolition work - rubble/grit/dust removal
Gravel removal from flat roofs etc
Clearance of blocked gutters and gullies
Clearance of large amounts of foliage

Surface clearance i.e. sludge, coal dust, general residue etc.

Due to its flexibility and ability to convey materials between the main suction nozzle and the materials container over a distance of up to 30meters, Suction Excavation offers exceptional low intrusion options. This expands the range of sites and applications the technology may be used within.
